Boxcar is a digital typeface/font I created directly from a large 20th century six inch steel stencil set. This set was used on a Northeast railroad to stencil the sides of railcars.
I love vintage stencils and the way that shapes create letterforms, brand identities, personal monograms, etc.
Boxcar is the second typeface in a new project of mine called "Typefound" that showcases historical typefaces I am creating from actual stencil and stamping sets.
Personal and Commercial licenses are available for this typeface on request.
