American Artworks™ is a project by American Objects working to make art more accessible. Originals c.1850-1950 as well as digital and archival print reproductions c.1700-1975 of important American Artworks.
Both physical and digital paintings and artworks are carefully curated for their historical importance and visual appeal.

A note on photography:
For original artworks, I try to photograph them how I see them in a space. This is a technique I have honed over many years to capture both accurate colors as well as how the eye sees an object. The digital and archival reproductions on the other hand are shot more "scientifically" with close attention to white balance, lighting and color accuracy (either by myself or by the museums and institutions that own the artworks).
