Barcent is a trademarked clothing company that I founded in 2013. It was built on the foundation of my other passion--history. All of the shirts were hand-printed using traditional printing methods. The shirts featured hand-stamped neck tags, hang tags, and signature copper hem buttons. The shop also featured actual vintage items such as US Mail leather bags, WWII era military surplus watches, American flags and more. I did all the design, marketing, printing, product photography, web design, and sourcing for the company myself.
Barcent was re-branded/ absorbed last year by a new company I created in early 2017 called American Objects which is currently in the pre-launch phase. AmericanObjects.com
The brand was built around hand-stamping. Custom stamps were made for the shirt designs, neck labels and hang tags. Authentic, early 20th century metal stamping sets were used to create the shirt sizes, mark the copper hem tags, etc.

The stamp on the left is one of the small versions I had to print the USAnchor design. This was before the stamp was used.

A used custom rubber stamp that was used to create hang tags for the brand (see image below).

This was the rubber stamp used to hand stamp the neck labels in each shirt. After this stamp was applied, the size was individually stamped on each shirt using a brass stamping set from WWI.

These were a few hem buttons made for the first edition of Baronet shirts. These were hand stamped and hand sewn to every shirt.
